How to Start Your Sisterlocks™ Journey...
Let's begin...
1. The Consultation 2. The Establishment 3. The Follow-Up Visit
All 3 parts of the package are vital and mandatory, to have a successful Sisterlocks™ Journey!
1. At your consultation we spend about 2 hours together. This is were we exchange a lot of information; about your hair care practices, your vision for your hair moving forward, and details on the world of Sisterlocks™.
2. Your Sisterlocks™ Establishment can last anywhere from 2-5 days, depending on your hair. During this time is it recommended that you dress in comfortable layers, bring things that will make you feel at home, (i.e, slippers, neck pillow, computer, phone chargers, snacks etc...)
3. Your follow-up visit/retightening, which is included in your establishment cost, will be scheduled for three weeks after your establishment. At this appointment, we will go over your Sisterlock™ practices so far, and you will be given tips on how to improve.
Note: If you fail to come to your follow up visit within three weeks of your establishment date, regular retightening rates will apply!
NOTE: There is a minimum 2 week period between Consultation & Establishment. Clients CANNOT be Established without a Consultation.
Curly Crown Studio Currently has a Waiting List for Sisterlock™ establishments.
To be considered for a consult and possibly an establishment, you (your hair) must meet the following qualifications:
REQUIREMENTS TO BE ESTABLISHED:
Hair must be COMPLETELY natural, no relaxed portions, no color damage or heat damage/training.
Qualifying Lengths: 4”-8”
Client must come with freshly trimmed ends prior to Establishment date.
Please provide the following information when inquiring:
Length of Hair (inches)?
A picture showing your hair in its most natural state.
Have you been locked before?
Sisterlocks or another locking system?
Please also note any issues that may impact your establishment. (Loss of edges, balding or drastic thinning, alopecia or dermatitis etc...)
Once approved, you will be added to the Sisterlock Consultation Waiting List, and will receive instructions on how to proceed .
